Localisation into Tok Pisin and Bislama
Budget: $2 – $8 AUD
I'm going to pay for some of LibreOffice to be translated into Tok Pisin and Bislama. Hopefully I'll then get enough momentum that I can get further donations done to do more of it, and possibly localise a Linux distribution too.
You'll need to:
- create tickets in bugzilla for the project to get the languages added
- chase up whether Microsoft even has language support (to get compatibility right)
- learn how to use LibreOffice's translation management system
- translate a whole lot of error messages and menus
- make some noise in whatever media you feel like telling people what is going on
(Note to anyone responding to this project... if you can't translate "kompiuta i stap long wea?" you won't be able to complete this project.)
