Khmer Personal Interviews Translation to English
Budget: £10 – £15 GBP
I need a professional translator to help convert personal interview material in Khmer to English.
The materials were originally recorded in Khmer, and I'm looking to have them accurately translated into English. The interviews are personal in nature, so I need a translator who can maintain the original content and tone while making it accessible to an English-speaking audience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate interview material from Khmer to English
- Preserve the original meaning and context of the interviews
- Work alongside the show's director in London to ensure the translated content meets the required standard
Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience in professional translation, especially in personal interview contexts
- Proficiency in both Khmer and English
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with the show's director
- High attention to detail and accuracy in translation
Location
We will ideally need someone to work alongside the programmes director in the edit in North London. We already have rough translations of the material which has enabled us to identify relevant material but need someone with both Khmer and good conversational English to provide coherent English translations
