You will be on 6 Months of extendable contractual payroll with MITS IT Services (www.mitsit.in) and will be executing projects at our client site, Investment Bank

As a French Translator with an IT background at [Your Company Name], you will play a crucial role in facilitating effective communication between our teams and clients. You will be responsible for translating written and spoken material from French to English and vice versa, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and cultural appropriateness. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of both languages and possess a solid understanding of IT terminology.
Key Responsibilities:
Translate written documents, including technical manuals, emails, and other project-related materials, from French to English and vice versa.
Interpret spoken conversations during meetings, presentations, and conference calls.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and contextually appropriate translations.
Maintain a consistent tone and style in translated materials.
Stay updated on industry-specific terminology and advancements in IT to ensure accurate translations.
Conduct research when necessary to clarify technical terms and concepts.
Assist in developing and maintaining a glossary of commonly used terms in both languages.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a translator, preferably with a focus on IT-related content.
Fluency in both French and English, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Strong understanding of IT terminology and concepts.
Excellent research skills to stay current with industry-specific language.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering accurate and high-quality translations.
Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
Familiarity with translation software and tools is a plus.
