French Documentary Caption Editing

am seeking an experienced caption editor for French-language documentary films.

Project Scope:
– Edit and enhance existing English subtitles or AI-generated drafts
– Ensure full accuracy, readability, and proper synchronization
– Add speaker identification and meaningful sound cues
– Deliver accessibility-ready captions suitable for WCAG 2.1 AA web streaming
– Provide final files in WebVTT (.vtt) and/or .srt format

Requirements:
– Strong proficiency in French (native or near-native)
– Experience editing captions for foreign-language films
– Familiarity with professional captioning software (e.g., Subtitle Edit, EZTitles, etc.)
– Understanding of accessibility captioning standards
– High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
