Salary: Project basis (Negotiable)
Job Summary
SCRIPTS Asia is looking for people with experience translate Chinese to English.
The job is a contract position. You will be paid for each document you complete successfully.
SCRIPTS Asia provides online tools to facilitate scheduling and workflow management.
Responsibilities
Translate/post edit the content of business meetings from Chinese to English. (with the support of our AI translation instead of drafting from scratch. The accuracy of AI translation can be high for this type of document.)
The final product is time-sensitive, so the translator will need to work efficiently and be able to meet deadlines.
Investors depend on SCRIPTS Asia for accurate translation and transcriptions of corporate meetings. Attention to detail is key to success in the role.
The work is seasonal, with peak demand occurring in March, April, August and September.
Skills and Qualifications
4-year college degree or equivalent.
At least 2 years experience in translation of Chinese to English, preferably in a business context.
Experience with Microsoft Word document editing software.
Applicants will need to pass SCRIPTS Asia’s qualification test.
Excellent written English skills.
Excellent general communication skills.
