Now we're looking for experienced [English to German] translators for a long-term project in IT field
Here you are some basic info about our project:
- Translation Content: Translation of User Manual for Smart furniture and home appliances. [IT, Marketing material]
- Tool: SDL Trados Studio/ online translation platform
- Payment: Invoice submission deadline is 26th each month. Payments will be made 18-24 of the next month (other currencies) on time.
- The onboarding process would be
the Rate Negotiation > Do a free test (<300 words) > Evaluation > Sign in resource system (GV) &Sign Contract (if passed the test) > Training(0.5-1h) > Do projects.

Responsibilities:
-Provide professional written translation/review/QA from source language to target language
-Proactively good search of reference materials, follow instructions and raise valid queries during translation
-Do final check to avoid low-level mistakes according to PM's requirements
-Implement feedback if any
Requirements:
-Japanese native speaker preferred or as secound language
-3+ years of experience as a translator and solid background in localization market with proven experience in ICT or related domains
-Be proficient in using CAT tool and check tool, like Trados Studio and xbench
-Be familiar with linguistic and cultural customs of the mother tongue-speaking country.
-Curious, quick learner and attentive to details
-Quick response, accept task in tight schedule
