Editor (US Native). IT courses localization. French to English (US)

Project info: localization of video scripts and reading materials for educational courses on the following topic:
- Manage your project using the V-cycle methodology

Please do not apply if you cannot dedicate 4 or more hours per business day, as we prefer to make up a small team of few professionals working more intensively rather than a big team of professionals doing small bits.

The duties of Editor will be as follows:
- Edit all translations in MemoQ (CAT-tool) (regular conventional editing for grammatical, syntactic, stylistic errors, keeping to the glossary etc.). Translations will be done by seasoned translators;
- We will create AI-generated narration of the courses and will sometimes ask you to spot the errors made by Artificial Intelligence when reading out the input text; analyze these errors and write instructions for translator to take into account in him next laps of work;
- Provide feedback to translator;

Requirements:
- Native US English speakers with a master's degree or certifications in translation;
- 2+ years of IT experience in roles like project manager, product manager, code developer, security specialist, system administrator or similar;
- Experience in CAT tools such as MemoQ/Trados.
- Experience in Machine Translation Post Editing.
