Digital File Typing & Multilingual Translation
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
I have a batch of English-language digital files—mostly PDFs and scans—that must be converted into clean, editable text and then translated into six target languages: Spanish, French, German, Hindi, Gujarati and Marathi. The material is all general content, so no specialist terminology is involved; accuracy, consistent formatting and a natural tone in each language matter most.
Here’s how I see the workflow:
• Retype or OCR the source files into an editable format (Word or Google Docs), preserving basic layout and any simple styling.
• Proof the English text to remove OCR or typing errors.
• Translate that final English copy into each of the six languages, supplying a separate file for every language.
I’m comfortable if you use CAT tools such as SDL Trados, MemoQ or even Google Translate Toolkit—as long as the end result reads like it was written by a native speaker. Please keep all original headings and paragraph breaks intact so I can line up versions easily.
Before we wrap up, I’ll do a quick spot-check against the source documents to confirm nothing was dropped. Once everything aligns, the project is complete.
