Create Spanish Subtitles for an Indie Sci Fi Feature Film -- 2
Budget: $100 – $400 CAD
The film is 87 minutes long, with English audio. It needs to have Spanish subtitles created.
I will provide the English subtitle file in .srt format, which includes exact timecode and the English for every word in the film. I will also provide access to a copy of the film with English subtitles on screen.
You will need to deliver the Spanish subtitle file in .srt format. You will not need to modify the timecode of any lines, you will just need to replace the English words with the Spanish words.
The English dialogue for the entire film is less than 2600 words.
The successful candidate will not simply translate the English words to Spanish, they will watch the film and understand the nuances in each situation to translate appropriately. The successful applicant will translate each word manually, not relying on any automated translation services.
The film is covers topics including particle physics and quantum physics, and requires a translator who is familiar with these concepts and vocabulary.
Requirements:
- Very high fluency in English
- Spanish as a first language
- BA or Masters studies that included sciences, ideally physics or quantum physics
