CTO / Head of Writing

A language translator is responsible for converting written or spoken words from one language to another. The job typically involves translating documents, books, websites, or other materials into different languages. The translator must be fluent in both the source and target languages(French,Spanish,Bulgarian, Arabic,Filipino, Bulgarian,Vietnamese, Russian, Portuguese. Etc) and have a strong understanding of the cultural nuances and idioms of both languages.

Job responsibilities may include:

- Translating written documents such as legal contracts, technical manuals, or marketing materials
- Interpreting spoken conversations or speeches for live events or meetings
- Editing and proofreading translated materials for accuracy and clarity
- Researching and consulting with subject matter experts to ensure accurate translations of technical or specialized content
- Maintaining a database of translated documents and terminology for future reference
- Collaborating with other translators or editors to ensure consistency in style and terminology
- Adapting translations to fit the target audience and cultural context
- Meeting deadlines and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications for a language translator may include:

- Fluency in at least any of the above languages, with a deep understanding of grammar, syntax, and vocabulary
- A degree in translation, linguistics, or a related field
- Experience translating documents or materials in a professional setting
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with translation software and tools.
