Biography Handbook Translation Needed
Budget: $15 – $25 AUD
I have written a detailed biography handbook and now need it translated while preserving its narrative flow, historical accuracy, and original formatting. The manuscript contains storyteller-style chapters, timelines, footnotes, and a few captioned images. Once we agree to work together, I will share the complete file and exact word count, along with a short sample so you can get a feel for the tone.
What I expect from you
• A polished, publication-ready translation delivered in an editable Word file that mirrors the original layout (headings, italics, footnotes, page breaks, and image captions).
• Consistency of terminology throughout; if you build a mini-glossary, even better.
• Native-level command of both the source and target languages and proven experience translating biographies, memoirs, or other narrative non-fiction.
• Use of CAT tools or QA software is welcome as long as the final text reads naturally to a human audience.
• One revision round included after my review.
