thebigword is looking for an experienced Freelance Translator able to Post Edit the Machine Translation (MTPE) for Government clients and organisations.
You will be responsible to Post Edit the Machine Translation (MTPE) of key content for our clients in this field, adhering to delivery deadlines and meeting quality expectations. Working with our dedicated Client Account Manager’s and our online Translation Management Systems.
1) Fluent in English
2) Experience as a freelance translator
3) A passion for supporting Limited English speakers and Government clients/organisations
4) A desire to learn new programmes and tools
5) Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
6) Have valid Standard DBS clearance
You should be based in the UK, hold a graduate degree. You should have the capacity to take on these assignments and be willing to complete a free test piece.
