DataForce by TransPerfect is looking for Transcribers with idiomatic fluency in Simplified Chinese to participate in a short-term, high-impact transcription assignment at our onsite location in Hong Kong, China.
This is a full time engagement and is expected to last 4 - 6 weeks.
Role Summary
Transcribers will transcribe audio data that will be used to improve language training data for Artificial Intelligence Speech Technology applications.
Applicants will need to pass a Simplified Chinese transcription test before qualifying for the role.
Role Responsibilities
As a Transcriber for our AI Division, you will perform the following tasks:
Transcribe audio (create written copies of live speech or dictated audio)
Review audio transcripts in Simplified Chinese
Job requirements
Idiomatic fluency in Simplified Chinese
Good English communication skills
Satisfactory results of Simplified Chinese Transcription test
Must be located in Hong Kong
Prior experience transcribing audio data or similar
Tech savvy
Proficient typing skills
Ability to interpret, follow guidelines and receive direction
Attention to detail
