Transcribe YouTube Videos
Budget: $2 – $8 USD
I have a hundred or so Youtube videos, all in English, that I would like transcribed into a MS-Word document. Each Video is 2 minutes to 30 minutes in length, average is 9 minutes long each.
99% of these Videos are close -captioned, which means YouTube has already made a English word Transcript. You just have to copy the transcript from youtube, paste into Word, and edit with Capital Letters, Periods, commas, and correct words that Youtube misunderstood. So each Video reads like a nice book in word.
I did the first video to my standards, it was 5 mins 30 seconds long. It took me 17 minutes 3 seconds exactly to copy, paste and edit it. it was 828 words when it was finished. You have no original words to research or add. Just spell checking, formatting, punctuation.
There is one two minute video that is not close captioned, you can use Google docs "voice to text" feature and let Google do the first pass. Then you have to correct Googles work. or just listen and type.
The first job is about 53 minutes of videos, which is ~ 2 hours 45 minutes worth of work, best to do this hourly rate. I have 4 jobs a week for 12 weeks.
