Remote transcriber
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
Seeking transcriptionists to work from home for a busy transcription company. A transcriber is someone that listens to an audio/video file and converts it into accurate and readable text.
This is an independent contractor, work from home position but you should reside in one of these countries: United States, Canada, United Kingdom or Australia
Audio file lengths range from 30 minutes to 2+ hours.
Requirements:
*Must be at least 18 years old.
*Transcription experience with busy footage
*Excellent spelling, grammar and punctuation skills
*Ability to Google search for correct spelling of unknown words or names
*Ability to transcribe verbatim dialogue, "uhs, or, ums," included
*Can dive right into the work with minimum direction; self-motivated
*Type at least 50 wpm
*Can follow required guidelines, procedures and meet deadlines
*Broadband internet access
*Previous experience with transcription software(s) and different media types
