I have a batch of digital files—mainly PDFs and a few existing .doc/.docx documents—that need their text transferred accurately into new, clean Word files. All content is strictly text; no numbers or formulas are involved.
Your task is to replicate the wording exactly as it appears, keeping headings, paragraphs, and any simple emphasis (bold or italics) intact while removing stray page breaks, duplicated line-feeds, or other artifacts that often appear after conversion. I’ll supply the source files through a shared folder; you’ll return the finished Word documents in the same folder, each named to match its source for easy cross-checking.
I’m looking for:
• Precise transcription with zero spelling changes unless an obvious OCR error exists
• Consistent use of styles (Heading 1, Heading 2, Normal) so the text remains organized
• A short progress note if you encounter unreadable sections
