Online library data entry
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I have a collection of book records that exist only as scanned documents—title pages, copyright pages, and a few annotated sheets. I need each record transcribed accurately into my online library catalogue. This means capturing every bibliographic field (title, author, publisher, year, ISBN and any notes on edition or series) and placing it in the correct spot inside the web-based system I’ll give you access to.
The scans are clear, and there’s no tight deadline, so you can work methodically, double-checking spellings and publishing details before you save each entry. Consistency matters more than speed here; I’m building a reliable reference archive.
You’ll receive a shared folder containing the images plus login credentials to the catalogue interface. I’m happy to walk through the first few entries together over a quick call or screen-share to show the field layout, then you can carry on independently.
Final acceptance is simple: every scanned book must have a complete, error-free record reflecting all visible metadata, with any uncertain characters flagged for my review.
