Archive Journals to Markdown

I have a collection of typed archival notes that I want transformed into clean, well-structured Markdown files. The pages are pure text—no images or tables—so your focus will be on accurate transcription and faithful formatting.

Key requirement: wherever the original notes use bullet points or nested lists, those lists must appear exactly the same in Markdown syntax. Headings, inline styles, or other embellishments are not present, so you can keep the files lean and readable.

You will receive the pages as searchable PDFs. Please convert each one into its own `.md` file, retaining the original file name for easy cross-referencing. Standard Markdown editors or command-line tools like Pandoc are fine; choose whichever workflow lets you guarantee consistency and zero formatting drift.

Deliverables
• A separate Markdown file for every source document
• Verified list and sub-list structure matching the original layout
• A brief log summarising any unclear characters or pages that needed manual clarification
