One-on-One Barista Training
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m a complete beginner who has finally invested in an espresso machine and I’d like a skilled barista to walk me through everything from dialing in a shot to pouring picture-perfect latte art. My main goals are:
• Mastering espresso extraction—understanding grind size, dose, tamp and shot timing.
• Learning latte art fundamentals so I can consistently pour hearts, rosettas and tulips.
• Gaining confidence in coffee-bean selection, including how origin, roast level and freshness affect flavour.
I’m looking for hands-on lessons built around my own espresso setup so I can replicate the results once you leave. Screen-sharing or video demos are fine for theory, but the bulk of the coaching should happen live while I’m pulling shots on my machine. After each session I’d like a short recap (notes or a quick video) outlining what we covered and the exercises I should practise before the next lesson.
