Magic the gathering Coaching Needed
Budget: $10 – $100 USD
I’m looking for a Magic the Gathering mentor who can help me Learn the basics of the game & refine my Commander (EDH) decks from the ground up, As well as other formats such as pauper and possibly learn how to better draft in limited, and I’d like to deep-dive into five core areas:
• Learning the rules & Basics of the game
• Card selection and overall synergy
• Balancing the mana curve and fine-tuning the land base
• Sharpening win conditions and combo lines
• Better grasp of key mechanics and stack interactions in real-game scenarios
• Along with this alternative request of helping me set up cards on MPC proxy/Add list of important reference cards as general purpose collection
Here’s how I picture the collaboration:
1. You take an initial look at my current list (I can share it through Moxfield or Archidekt).
2. We hop on a voice/SpellTable call where you walk me through cuts, adds, and sequencing choices.
3. You follow up with a concise write-up or annotated list so I can reference the changes while testing, As well as Guides on to better understand the general game and Deck win cons
4. Possibly you take initiative on the proxy collection project.
I value clear explanations over just swapping cards—I want to understand the reasoning so I can build smarter moving forward. If you have competitive EDH experience, that’s a plus, but I’m mainly aiming for a resilient, well-rounded casual-to-semi-competitive deck.
Let me know your coaching style, preferred communication platform, and expected turnaround & session Rating.
Looking forward to sharpening this together!
