training and development

Job ID: 30750272

Budget: $10 – $30 CAD

for your culminating 3-part course project, your task is to individually develop a one-day (maximum 8 hours) training session for which YOU are the applicable Trainer within your organization.

You may choose one of the following general training topics:

Sales Training

You have the creative discretion to determine the size and nature of your Company; you will be required to introduce your Company to me with a short paragraph of not more than 3-4 sentences. The above-listed training topics are quite broad so you may wish to begin thinking about your project in terms of narrowing your focus on one specific subject area that is related to the topic.

For example: Sales Training → Mastering The Art of the Cold Call

This project features three (3) separate submissions for the purpose of evaluation:
The remaining documents in the project folder include:

complete submission information and evaluation details for each of your project submissions (1,2 & 3)
a project submission template
This 3-part project is intended as a cumulative effort with the second and third submissions building upon what you started in the first submission.

It is recommended that you take time to review each of the submission project outlines early in the course so that you can begin to formulate your ideas as you are introduced to the applicable course content.

REMEMBER – A key learning outcome for this project is to evidence practical application of the training and development theories. In your project submissions, you must include sufficient detail and information to describe your training session and your specific approach to developing the session as a Trainer. This is not a research paper. This project must be your own work and not content found on the internet. Any resources or references used for your project must be properly cited.
