Workplace Accident Investigation Specialist

Job ID: 40153820

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I need an experienced HSE engineer to take the lead on a full-scale incident investigation focused on recent workplace accidents at our facility. Your primary task will be to determine root causes, document contributing factors, and translate the findings into clear, actionable recommendations.

Because the lessons learned will be rolled out to our Supervisors, I also need a concise set of training materials that distill the investigation results into practical guidance they can apply on the floor.

Deliverables
• Detailed investigation plan and timeline
• On-site fact-finding (interviews, evidence review, regulatory checks)
• Root-cause analysis report with corrective and preventive actions
• 10–15-slide briefing deck tailored to Supervisors

You should be comfortable with standard HSE frameworks (e.g., 5-Whys, Fishbone, TapRooT, or a similar method), have strong report-writing skills, and be able to turn technical findings into straightforward supervisor-level training content.

If you have availability to start quickly and can show previous accident investigation experience, I’d like to hear how you would approach the assignment and your expected turnaround time.
