I'm looking for a skilled developer to create a web-based algorithmic trading application. The app should have the following key functionalities:
- Automated trading: The app should be capable of executing trades on its own based on pre-set algorithms and market conditions.
- Backtesting strategies: The app needs to provide the ability to test trading strategies against historical market data to evaluate their potential effectiveness.
- Real-time market data: The app should be able to provide and respond to real-time market data to inform trading decisions.
Ideal candidates for this project should have:
- Extensive experience in developing web-based trading applications.
- A strong understanding of algorithmic trading.
- Experience with backtesting trading strategies.
- Ability to integrate with various brokerage APIs (though specific APIs have not yet been decided).
- Excellent skills in data analysis and real-time data processing.
