wooden cat bookshelf

I need a bookshelf/ 5 levels made with cherrywood finish . I'd like to make it wide enough so that a full grown cat can sit on either of the lower two levels. Perhaps the top level would have cabinet doors to store food or something...I have just the idea, but would like it begun as soon as we can. the reason i'd like to have it also be multi-purpose is in case, cat doesn't like it, it could work as just a bookshelf, and wouldn't be wasted time and money. lol...
