Custom 3D Printable Chess Set Design

**Create a 3D Printable Custom Chess Set and Board in Tinkercad / OpenSCAD**

I need a freelancer to create a **3D printable custom chess set with a custom chess board** for a school project. The design should be suitable for a child’s assignment and should follow specific size and design constraints given by the teacher.

The final design should be made either directly in **Tinkercad** or created in **OpenSCAD / similar CAD software** and then imported into Tinkercad for final editing. The final files should be editable and printable.

However, the design should not be copied exactly. It should have a **custom theme/design** and look original.

## Requirements

### 1. Chess Pieces

The freelancer needs to create the following chess pieces:

* Pawn
* Rook
* Knight
* Bishop
* Queen
* King

Each piece should be recognizable and different from the others.

### Required Piece Heights

* Stay within **18 mm maximum width**
* Have a bottom base wider than the top
* Be 3D printable
* Have different shapes/heights
* Be recognizable by role
* Fit properly on the chess board squares
* Be created using multiple basic shapes where possible, similar to Tinkercad style

## 2. Chess Board Requirements

The board must include:

* 8 × 8 grid
* 64 squares total
* Each square should be **20 mm × 20 mm**
* Total board size should be **160 mm × 160 mm**
* Square height should be around **1–2 mm**
* Board should have a unique pattern or custom design
* Board should include at least **2 raised edges or 2 raised labels**
* Board should be suitable for 3D printing

Optional but preferred:

* A–H and 1–8 labels
* Raised border
* Child-friendly theme
* Name/class label area
* Simple decorative elements

## 3. Theme

Please create a simple custom theme for the chess set. Some possible themes:

* Space theme
* Robot theme
* Castle theme
* School theme
* India theme
* Adventure theme

I am open to suggestions, but the final design should look original and suitable for a school assignment.

## 4. Deliverables

The freelancer must provide:

1. Editable Tinkercad project link, or editable OpenSCAD/CAD source file
2. STL files for:

* Chess board
* Pawn
* Rook
* Knight
* Bishop
* Queen
* King
3. One combined preview image/screenshot of the full chess set
4. Individual screenshots of each piece
5. Confirmation that all sizes meet the teacher’s requirements
6. Files should be ready for 3D printing

## 5. Important Notes

* The design should be simple enough for a school project but still look polished.
* It should not be overly complex or fragile, as it needs to be 3D printable.
* All pieces must fit correctly on the 20 mm board squares.
* The bottom of each piece should be stable and wider than the top.
* If created outside Tinkercad, the final STL should still be importable into Tinkercad.
