Scalable Instructional Design Partnership

Job ID: 40409117

Budget: £20,000 – £50,000 GBP

As a leading organisation in the fitness and leisure sector, we are entering a phase of accelerated growth across multiple European territories. This expansion is driving a significant increase in demand for high-quality, scalable learning solutions that support both compliance requirements and commercial training excellence.
While our existing portfolio includes award-winning learning products, we are currently experiencing a creative and production bottleneck within our instructional design capability. This is limiting our ability to:
• Scale effectively across regions
• Maintain consistency of learner experience
• Meet growing business demand within realistic timeframes
To address this, we are seeking to introduce additional instructional design resource to increase creative output, improve speed to delivery, and elevate the quality and impact of learning experiences.
The subject matter is ready, the brand guidelines are set, but we need extra instructional design horsepower to turn that raw content into engaging e-learning courses—quickly, consistently, and at scale.

Here is what a typical assignment looks like:
1. Receive a content outline or SME interview notes, clear objectives and measurable indicators to demonstrate impact.
2. Shape a clear learning journey that satisfies regulatory criteria (for compliance modules) or boosts sales and service capability (for commercial modules).
3. 3. Storyboard, prototype, and build a polished e-learning course—SCORM-ready, fully responsive, WCAG-compliant, translation-friendly, and on-brand.
4. Attain accreditation from either CIMPSA, CDP or RoSPA (where applicable)

We work primarily in Articulate360 (Storyline and Rise) with supplementary video design tools (HeyGen/Vyond/VEED.io) and appreciate designers who can take ownership of the entire build cycle, from writing concise voice-over scripts to selecting visuals and interactions that minimise cognitive load, and finally polish off with translating this into our 5 host languages. Strong grasp of adult-learning principles, micro-learning, scenario-based design, and data-driven iteration is essential.
You will collaborate with our in-house creative, subject matter experts, and LMS teams via Teams or in person if preferred. Expect a steady flow of projects, clear timelines, and fast feedback loops.
If you have a track record of delivering high-impact e-learning—both for regulatory compliance and revenue-generating skill sets—let’s talk about the first module and map out a longer-term partnership.
