Local Petition Signature Gathering in Anaheim, Orange or Santa Ana
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m preparing the paperwork to place a candidate on our upcoming ballot and need fewer than 100 valid signatures from registered voters who live in our local district. Because election law requires that the circulator be a registered voter here as well, I’m looking for someone who meets that requirement and can hit the streets over the next week or two.
You’ll receive the official petition sheets, clear instructions on acceptable ink, wording, and the exact district boundaries. Your job is to approach eligible residents, confirm their voter status (I’ll provide a simple lookup link), have them sign and date the form correctly, and then return the completed sheets to me in good condition. Accuracy matters: signatures must match the voter roll and any stray marks can invalidate an entire sheet, so attention to detail is critical.
Deliverables
• Completed petition sheets with at least 100% of the required signatures—aiming for 80–90 names to ensure we comfortably exceed the threshold of “less than 100” after verification
• A brief log noting the dates and general locations of collection
• Your sworn circulator affidavit as required by the county clerk
Acceptance will be based on the clerk’s initial validation that we’ve met the numeric requirement with no disqualified entries. If you already have experience gathering nomination signatures or are simply an outgoing, rule-following local voter, this assignment should be straightforward and quick.
