I’m upgrading the garden steps and the short front pathway with slip-resistant porcelain tiles laid in a precise grid pattern. The finish needs to be a clean, straight edge that sits flush with the lawn and adjoining brickwork.
Your role covers everything from surface preparation to the final clean-up. That includes establishing the correct falls for drainage, setting a solid base that won’t shift with temperature changes, cutting the porcelain accurately around risers and edges, and applying outdoor-grade grout and sealant so the joints stay tight through the seasons.
Deliverables
• Substrate prepared and levelled for exterior porcelain
• Porcelain tiles installed on steps and pathway in grid layout
• Straight edge border finished neatly all around
• Site left tidy, debris removed
