Bathroom Tile Replacement & Installation
Budget: $10 – $5,000 AUD
I am looking for a professional tiler for my bathroom renovation. The project involves removing old tiles and installing new ceramic tiles that I will supply.
Key Details:
- Area to be tiled:
- Floor: 1.6x 1.6m
- Walls: 16 sqm
- Tile Pattern: Straight lay
- Existing Fixtures: Some will need to be removed and re-installed.
What I need:
- A quote for removal of old tiles and reinstallation of new ones
- A second quote just for relaying the new tiles
Considerations:
- Depending on how easy the old tiles come up, some areas may need to be waterproofed and re-bedded.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Extensive tiling experience, particularly with ceramic tiles
- Capability to remove and reinstall bathroom fixtures
- Previous experience with waterproofing and re-bedding preferred
- Good understanding of straight lay tile patterns
- Ability to provide accurate and fair quotes for both parts of the job.
