Three.js Virtual Tour Developer Needed
Budget: $8 – $15 USD
I need a developer who is comfortable in pure WebGL and, more specifically, three.js to build a browser-based virtual tour. The scene should load efficiently, display correctly on modern desktop and mobile browsers, and allow smooth first-person or orbit-style navigation so visitors can move around the space intuitively.
Core requirements
• three.js (latest stable) for all rendering and scene management
• Responsive navigation controls—keyboard, mouse, and touch input must all be supported
• Clean, well-commented ES6 code so I can extend the project later
Nice-to-have but not mandatory: information pop-ups, object animations, or other interactive flourishes if they can be added without compromising performance.
Deliverables
1. Working virtual-tour scene delivered as an HTML/JS bundle
2. Brief setup guide (one page is fine) explaining file structure, build steps, and how to swap out assets
3. Source files in Git or a zip archive
I will supply the 3D assets and any HDRIs or textures. You simply plug them in, wire up the camera controls, and make sure everything feels fluid at 60 fps on an average laptop. Please share a link or repo showing similar WebGL work so I can gauge code style and performance.
