Creative Frontend Integration: Luxury 3D & AI

The Project: We are developing a premium, high-fidelity digital entity for a luxury-tier web platform. We have a complex, custom-textured .GLB asset and a Vertex AI Search/Discovery Engine backend ready. We are looking for a specialist to integrate these components into a seamless, interactive frontend experience.
The Mission:
Frontend 3D Implementation: Render a high-detail .GLB model with custom shaders (transparency, refraction, and emissive maps) using Three.js or React Three Fiber.
AI Orchestration: Connect the frontend to Vertex AI Search and Gemini to drive the entity’s logic and dialogue.
Dynamic Animation: Trigger specific animation tracks based on API response states (e.g., status changes, thinking loops, and interaction triggers).
Usage Logic: Build a lightweight tracking system for API queries and token usage.
Requirements:
Proven experience with WebGL/Three.js (Specifically handling complex materials).
Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and the Vertex AI suite.
Ability to handle Async state management between a 3D canvas and an LLM.
A portfolio showcasing at least one project where a 3D asset interacts with an AI backend.
Technical Project Requirements:
Material Expert: Must be able to implement complex refractive and emissive shaders for a high-detail obsidian-glass entity.
Vertex Specialist: Must have direct experience with Vertex AI Search (Discovery Engine) using existing Data Store/Search IDs.
AI Grounding: Experience in connecting Gemini 2.0/3.0 with grounded search results to drive character dialogue.
Asset Integration: Handling .GLB files with multiple NLA animation tracks and syncing them to real-time AI states.
How to Apply: Show us a project where you’ve successfully rendered a 3D character in a browser. Bonus points if you can explain how you’d handle translucent materials in a real-time environment.
