EES Heat Transfer Solver Setup

Job ID: 40369372

Budget: $10 – $30 USD

I’m looking for help building and troubleshooting an Engineering Equation Solver (EES) model for a heat-transfer study. The core task is to translate my problem statement into well-structured EES code, run it, and return results I can trust.

Scope of work
• Clarify the exact heat-transfer mode involved—conduction, convection, radiation, or a combination—based on my notes and any data I provide.
• Define all governing equations, assumptions, and correlations inside one EES file with clear comments.
• Set up inputs so I can easily modify material properties, boundary conditions, and initial temperatures later on.
• Run the model, perform a quick sensitivity check, and flag any physical inconsistencies.

Deliverables
1. Fully annotated .EES file ready to run.
2. A brief PDF or Word summary (1–2 pages) describing assumptions, key equations, and main results.
3. Screenshot or short video clip showing the model running successfully in EES.

Acceptance criteria
– File opens without errors in the current EES release.
– Energy balances close within an agreed tolerance.
– Variables are clearly labeled and grouped for easy editing.

If you regularly use EES for heat-transfer calculations and can turn this around promptly, let’s talk so I can share the remaining details.
