Water Leak Detection with Thermal Imaging

When we put the heating on we can hear this annoying taping noise behind the wall. I don't think its a water leak. It's a knocking probably caused by a plastic pipe being incorrectly connected to copper. I need someone to detect this in the right area to cause minimum damage to the wall and then get the issue fixed.
