I need a complete computational study that shows how a water-based spray system performs inside a burning railway compartment. The model must capture three key outcomes—temperature distribution, smoke spread, and overall fire-suppression effectiveness—so I can compare scenarios with and without the spray.

You’re free to choose whichever CFD or fire-specific package you feel will give the most reliable results; ANSYS Fluent, FDS, OpenFOAM or an equivalent tool are all acceptable as long as you can justify the selection and deliver verifiable output.

Please include:

• A validated geometry and mesh of a typical passenger coach
• Boundary conditions that realistically replicate ignition, heat release rate, ventilation, and water-spray nozzles
• Time-dependent plots and high-resolution visuals for temperature, smoke visibility, and extinguishment progress
• A brief technical report explaining assumptions, governing equations or sub-models used, and clear conclusions about the spray’s performance

I will consider the work complete when the results are reproducible on my end, and the report answers whether the chosen spray layout meets safety targets for temperature limits and tenability.
