I need a compact yet robust power circuit that can feed several portable-electronics modules drawing a combined load above 50 W. The board must accept both AC and DC sources seamlessly—think mains adaptor on one day, high-capacity power bank battery pack on the next—while maintaining stable regulated rails, high efficiency, and tight ripple control.

Your job is to turn this concept into a production-ready design: schematic, validated simulations, and a design layout ready for production. Please factor in the usual protections (OVP, UVP, short-circuit, thermal) and include thermal calculations so I can be sure the design stays cool inside a plastic enclosure. Size and weight matter, so component selection and topology choice should favour portability.

Acceptance criteria
The final board must power-up cleanly on 90–240 VAC as well as 12–24 VDC, deliver the specified wattage for at least one hour at ambient 40 °C without exceeding component limits, and meet IEC safety clearances where relevant.
