CFD Analysis for Battery Cooling -- 2

Job ID: 40355091

Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR

I need a complete CFD study that shows how an air-cooled lithium-ion battery pack behaves under load. Your simulation must cover three linked aspects—heat dissipation, temperature distribution throughout the cells and channels, and the resulting fluid-flow characteristics inside the cooling passages.

Air will be the only working fluid, so model its thermo-physical properties accurately across the expected temperature range. Please apply the following boundary conditions exactly as stated:
• constant temperature at selected casing surfaces (representing contact with a chilled plate)
• constant heat flux from each cell core
• adiabatic walls on all remaining faces

I am interested in clear, actionable results: temperature contours on every cell, velocity vectors for the airflow path, pressure drop data, and any hot-spot identification. A brief comparison of alternative fan speeds or inlet flow rates is welcome if it helps recommend an optimal design.

Deliverables
1. Solver project files (ANSYS Fluent, OpenFOAM, or COMSOL—use whichever you are fastest with)
2. Post-processed graphics ready for presentation (PNG/PDF)
3. A concise report summarising set-up, assumptions, mesh independence check, and key findings

I will validate the work by reproducing your case on my workstation, so please document every step clearly. Looking forward to your expertise in thermal-fluid simulation.
