English-Thai Phone Interpreter Needed
Budget: $2 – $8 USD
I need a fluent bilingual speaker of English and Thai to join several scheduled phone calls and relay the conversation in real time. The purpose is straightforward translation conversion help rather than formal document work, so accuracy, speed, and the ability to switch smoothly between both languages are essential.
You will be patched in via our preferred VoIP line (Zoom or standard conference bridge) at pre-arranged times. During each call you will:
• listen to the Thai or English speaker,
• interpret the message into the other language without adding or omitting meaning,
• keep the flow natural so neither party feels the lag of translation.
The calls are business-oriented but not confined to a single sector, so clear, neutral vocabulary is key. Confidentiality is mandatory—everything discussed stays between the parties on the line.
Deliverable: completed live interpretation for each scheduled phone session, with a brief summary in English afterward highlighting any action items that might require follow-up.
