I need a textiles engineer

trying to source the best material to design an ankle brace. Something with enough elasticity to stretch but also something that is comfortable and sturdy. Ultimately, I just want to get a better understanding of what the best fabric/s would be - it all gets a little confusing for someone with limited knowledge doing market research when percentages of different fabrics are involved (i.e. 70% nylon, 20% neoprene) etc. I preferably am just looking for advice if thats possible. I am open to talking next steps, design, and prototype too.
