Men’s Cut-Resistant Underwear Design

I’m developing a pair of tight, supportive men’s briefs that feel good during long hours of wear yet stand up to demanding environments. Above all, the fabric must be genuinely cut-resistant while still offering heat, water and sweat resistance, plus enough ventilation to stay breathable.

The design needs an ergonomic pouch that prevents chafing, a waistband that holds its position during movement, and stretchable, durable yarns such as nylon- or polyester-based blends. Please work comfort, stability and discreet “controlled access” into the pattern so the garment stays functional all day.

Deliverables I need from you:
• Concept sketches or digital flats showing front, back and pouch construction
• A short technical write-up recommending specific fabrics, knit structures and finishes that meet the cut-resistant, heat-resistant and moisture-blocking goals while retaining stretch and breathability
• Assembly notes or a mini tech-pack that a sample maker can follow, including seam types, suggested trims and ventilation placement
• Guidance on how to prototype or source the materials so I can move straight into sampling
