Dog pyjamas fit correction and pattern redraft
Budget: €250 – €750 EUR
Job Description
I’m the founder of a small pet & lifestyle brand preparing for production. I’m looking for an experienced technical pattern maker to help correct the fit of a dog pyjama after multiple sampling rounds.
This is not a basic alteration job. I need support at pattern and fit level to identify what’s going wrong and create a production-ready pattern.
Scope of work:
• Review existing dog pyjama pattern and/or physical sample
• Identify fit issues (proportions, ease, leg placement, stretch allowance, etc.)
• Redraft or correct the pattern accordingly
• Advise on construction details for better fit and consistency
• Support one final corrected sample for handover to manufacturer
Garment details:
• Dog pyjama (top + legs)
• Stretch knit fabric (cotton interlock)
• Intended for small-to-medium dog sizes
• Existing samples available (photos, measurements, or sample can be shipped)
What I’m looking for:
• Proven experience in pattern making for pets
• Strong understanding of fit, movement, and stretch fabrics
• Experience working with brands or preparing garments for production
• Clear communication and practical, solution-focused approach
This is a paid freelance project with potential for ongoing work as the brand develops further styles and sizes.
Please include:
• Relevant experience
• Examples of similar work
• Your availability and estimated timeline
