Traditional and modern Saree Design Innovation

1.Design original and traditional saree concepts with a strong understanding of Indian textiles, motifs, and weaving techniques
2.Create hand-drawn pencil sketches and develop detailed design layouts for sarees (pallu, border, body)
3.Research and innovate with regional styles (Kanjeevaram, Banarasi, Chanderi, Ikat, etc.) while maintaining uniqueness
4.Select and coordinate colors, patterns, yarns, and textures suitable for traditional sarees.
5.Develop design boards, samples, and seasonal collections
6.Ensure designs align with brand aesthetics, quality standards, and market trends
7.Candidate should have 2–3 years of experience in saree or traditional textile design
8.Proficiency in hand sketching and basic knowledge of design software (if required).
9.Experience in reviving heritage designs and adapting them for modern markets
10.Understanding of dyeing methods such as natural dyes, zari work, and jacquard designs.
11.Coordinate with master weavers and vendors to translate sketches into finished sarees
12.Ensure sampling, corrections, and approvals at various stages of development.
13.Strong attention to detail, creativity, and passion for traditional craftsmanship
