Full-Time Home Textile Designer

I’m ready to bring a senior textile designer onto my team full time to drive our entire home-textile line. You’ll take charge of every stage of design—from concept sketches through production-ready files—for table linen, decorative pillows, curtains, bedding and any new categories we introduce.

What the day-to-day looks like
You’ll create original repeat prints and colorways in CAD, translate those ideas into accurate weave set-ups, and specify surface ornamentation techniques (embroidery, appliqué, quilting, etc.). Collaborating closely with product development, you’ll prepare tech packs, strike-off comments and loom cards that mills can follow without a hitch.

Must-have background
• At least five years in home textiles with a proven record in both printed and woven constructions.
• Expert command of print-design software (Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop or equivalents such as NedGraphics, AVA, Pointcarre) plus a solid grasp of jacquard and dobby weave structures.
• Comfort working to tight calendars, juggling multiple SKUs and hitting cost targets while maintaining design integrity.

I’d like a detailed project proposal explaining your creative process, preferred software, past collaborations with mills, and how you handle sampling rounds. Deliverables I expect once you’re on board
1. Trend/colour mood boards each season
2. Production-ready repeat prints (layered files at scale)
3. Weave layouts with yarn counts and constructions
4. Surface-embellishment specs with stitch diagrams if needed
5. Tech packs covering BOM, finishing and packaging notes
