Wind Energy Ireland is seeking experienced mobile app testers to thoroughly test our iOS and Android mobile applications. The apps are designed to support Trainers and Trainees and include features like self-assessment, course management, chat functionality, and user profiles. Your role will be to identify defects, report them, assist with retesting after fixes, and provide a final signoff for the applications.
Scope of Work:
1. Functional Testing
a. Test core functionalities, including self-assessment, course management, chat, and profiles, across both Trainer and Trainee roles.
b. Verify all workflows for accuracy, usability, and stability.
2. Defect Logging & Reporting
a. Document and prioritize defects using a systematic approach.
b. Provide screenshots, videos, or logs where necessary to support defect reports.
3. Retesting After Fixes
a. Collaborate with our development team to verify fixes.
b. Perform regression testing to ensure no new issues are introduced.
4. Signoff
a. Provide a comprehensive testing summary and final signoff confirming the app is free of critical defects and ready for release.
Key Requirements:
Experience testing mobile applications on both iOS and Android platforms.
Ability to test both Trainer and Trainee user flows.
Proficiency in identifying, documenting, and verifying defects.
Attention to detail and adherence to tight deadlines.
Availability to complete testing within the 1-week timeline.
Deliverables:
Test plan.
A clear and prioritized list of defects.
Retest summary for fixed defects.
Final test summary report with signoff.

Prior experience with educational or training apps is a plus.
