QA for Front page of website
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I am looking for a QA specialist to conduct functional testing for the front page of my website. The front page www.newlista.com is the Commercial real estate listing webpage. You will not do QA on the other pages such as the About Us, Book Store, Business Directory, or News Page. The ideal candidate will have experience in conducting thorough tests to ensure the functionality of the website. We prefer someone who has knowledge in doing Q.A. for Real Estate websites but not necessary.
Specific requirements for the project include:
- Conducting functional testing on specific parts of the website, as identified by the client. The freelancer will create a free user account. They will also create three test listings under the three categories, Commercial Real Estate for Sale, Commercial Real Estate for Lease, and Business for Sale, and add any information you prefer on each box and drop-down box. Royalty-free images to upload for the listing can be found at www.Pexels.com or www.pixabay.com You will make notes on the ease of using the user dashboard as well as inserting the listing. Also, after you create the listing, you will do a search on the front page of your listing using the search criteria. You review the listing and check the map, and functionality of all of the buttons, fill out the contact form, and submit the information. After the test listing is complete and the freelancer makes their notes, they will delete the listing.
- Providing test results in a summary format, accompanied by screenshots to highlight any issues or areas of concern. The freelancer will note if there are any issues that can cause the user to abandon the Commercial listing website and if so make recommendations.
The preferred method of receiving test results is through a summary with screenshots. This will allow me to quickly and easily review the findings and address any necessary changes.
