This position will participate as a Quality Assurance Analyst and Software Tester on fast paced, team oriented agile projects. Candidate should have experience in manual testing but be open to working with automated testing as well. Experience with, or desire to work with automated testing is a plus. Candidate should have participated in prior efforts utilizing agile management, development, and testing methods. This role will be comprised of manual and automated quality assurance testing, the ideal candidate will have experience in both.

Develop testing strategies and user acceptance test plans
Develop and document step-by-step test cases based on the software requirements elicited by busin
Provide input to continual improvement and team building
Participate in manual testing for different projects and applications
Participate in work planning and tracking
Identify risk and mitigation
Prioritize test scenarios and. execute according to plan
Identify, log, and track defects in Jira
Provide reporting on defect tracking and escalate technical issues as needed
Develop and maintain testing standards, procedures, and guidelines to ensure consistent testing procedures
Partner with distributed teams, outside vendors or offshore testing partners
Follow standards in accordance with company policy and regulation

Technical Skills
Experience with automated testing of web and mobile applications and web services
Experience with Karate, Cucumber, QAF, Selenium, Appium, or similar test framework
Experience with programming for automated testing using Java (preferred), JavaScript, or similar development language
in-depth understanding of the various testing concepts (e.g. Functional, Usability, Availability, Performance)
Experience testing applications in accordance to required functional and non-functional attributes
Experience writing test plans and test cases
Ability to conduct manual testing
