Qualifications
•Strong understanding of building and consuming REST services
•Experience with testing automation:
•Experience with development tools:
•Tomcat/JBoss Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
•4 years of application development experience
•Experience designing, programming, and implementing large information systems
•Strong analytical, problem-solving, and written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
•With minimal supervision, design, develop, enhance, maintain, test and deploy eCommerce solutions to meet VSP Retail's business needs
•The eCommerce Engineer is self-directed and participates in VSP's agile development process
•Work with Product Owners and Business Analysts to understand business and technical requirements to deliver elegant solutions that meet or exceed expectations
•Design and manage the execution of test plans and test automation to ensure repeatable quality
•Provide production support, troubleshooting, business support and implementation of bug fixes
•Maintain documentation to support the management and maintenance of applications and environments
