KuwaitLocal.com is undergoing a significant website upgrade (test.kuwaitlocal.com) and we are seeking an experienced Website Tester to ensure optimal functionality, performance, and user experience. This project will require both manual and automated testing skills.
Responsibilities:
Test Plan & Strategy: Develop a comprehensive test plan outlining the scope, objectives, and criteria for the testing phase.
Documentation & Test Cases: Create exhaustive test cases based on our website’s functionality requirements.
Automated Testing: Utilize automated testing tools to execute repetitive and data-intensive tasks.
Manual Testing: Conduct manual tests to ensure the website’s performance on various devices, browsers, and operating systems.
Defect Tracking: Log defects and coordinate with the development team for resolution.
Performance Testing: Evaluate the load time, scalability, and responsiveness of the website.
Final Report: Produce a final testing report summarizing findings, actions taken, and recommendations for future improvements.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in both manual and automated website testing.
Familiarity with testing tools such as Selenium, JIRA, and other related software.
Experience in drafting functionality documents and creating test cases.
Strong understanding of web development, including HTML/CSS.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal form.
