Web Application Tester for Multi-Module SAAS System

We are a software development company working on an integrated SAAS (Software-as-a-Service) platform that encompasses various modules, including HRM (Human Resource Management), CRM (Customer Relationship Management), Inventory, Accounting, Pharmacy, Doctor, Reception, and more. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Web Application Tester to join our team and ensure the quality and reliability of our platform.
Responsibilities:
Testing: Perform comprehensive testing of the web application across all modules to identify and document bugs, issues, and inconsistencies.
Bug Reporting: Report and track bugs using bug tracking tools, clearly documenting steps to reproduce and provide necessary details for developers to resolve the issues.
Regression Testing: Conduct regression testing to ensure that previously identified issues have been fixed and no new issues have emerged.
Compatibility Testing: Verify the compatibility of the application across various browsers, devices, and operating systems.
Usability Testing: Evaluate the user-friendliness and intuitiveness of the interface to provide feedback on improvements.
Performance Testing: Assess the system's performance, load times, and responsiveness, highlighting areas for optimization.
Security Testing: Collaborate with the development team to perform security testing and identify vulnerabilities that may compromise the platform's integrity.
Documentation: Create test cases, test plans, and other related documentation to ensure the testing process is well-documented and easily understandable.
Additional Modules Testing: As the platform evolves, test new modules and features to ensure seamless integration with the existing system.
Collaborate with the Development Team: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide feedback on the application's functionality and user experience.
Requirements:
Proven Experience: Previous experience as a Web Application Tester or similar role, preferably with experience in testing complex SAAS applications.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in using testing tools and bug tracking systems. Familiarity with web development technologies, databases, and API testing is a plus.
Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to testing, with the ability to identify even the smallest issues and inconsistencies.
Strong Analytical Skills: Capable of analyzing system behavior, user workflows, and potential edge cases to create comprehensive test scenarios.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to clearly report bugs and provide feedback to the development team.
Time Management: Ability to manage time efficiently, meet deadlines, and prioritize testing efforts based on project requirements.
