Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented QA Tester to perform comprehensive testing of our Matrimony platform across both the website and mobile app. This includes testing functionality, UI/UX, field validation, error handling, performance, and overall user flow for all pages and screens. The tester will ensure all features work as expected across both platforms and identify any bugs, UI inconsistencies, or functional issues.
Scope of Work:
- Functional Testing: Ensure all features on both the website and mobile app are working as expected, including forms, buttons, links, filters, pop-ups, and any other interactive elements.
- UI/UX Testing: Validate user interface elements such as buttons, images, form fields, and dropdowns for consistency across pages and mobile screens.
- Cross-Platform Testing: Test across different browsers (for web) and devices (for mobile).
- End-to-End Testing: Validate the entire user journey for different processes such as registration, login, profile editing, image uploads, search filters, and other key user flows.
- Test Execution: Execute test cases based on previously written documents, marking them as Pass/Fail and providing detailed feedback.
- Bug Reporting: Report issues with clear steps to reproduce, screenshots, or screen recordings, and track them until resolution.
Modules to Test Include:
- Login and Registration (including OTP, Forgot Password)
- Multi-Step Registration (Personal, Education, Family, Horoscope, Address)
- Search Filters (dropdowns, input fields, age ranges, etc.)
- My Profile Screens (view/edit, image uploads, slideshow)

- Image Uploads (profile image, gallery images)
- Contact Details (display and edit)
- Cross-Platform Navigation (check functionality on both mobile apps and website)
Requirements:
- Proven experience in manual QA testing for both websites and mobile apps.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow predefined test cases as well as perform ad-hoc testing.
- Experience in cross-browser and cross-device testing (Android, Web).
- Excellent communication skills for reporting bugs and suggesting improvements.
- Familiarity with testing forms, dropdowns, validations, and interactive elements.
- Experience with user journey testing and UI/UX validation.
Preferred:
- Prior experience with form-heavy apps (e.g., matrimonial, job portals, e-commerce).
- Familiarity with testing apps that handle images, file uploads, and complex user input.
- Ability to suggest optimizations and improvements based on test results.
Deliverables:
- Full testing of all pages/screens and user flows.
- Test case results with Pass/Fail status and comments.
- Bug reports with steps to reproduce and screenshots or recordings.
