Test Lead

I am a Junior test lead, please can someone help me explain these job responsibility.
- Develop test plans and test strategy documentation
- Is knowledgeable and effective in following established testing practices and processes.
- Takes ownership of Automation capability across Customer Products
-Assists with and propagates latest tools and technologies for automated testing, processes and development in order to speed up repetitive testing and bring greater confidence in the software released
• Monitor and respond to events that impact acceptable performance.
• Ensure that all testing artefacts are documented to a high standard and in a timely and efficient
manner.
• Provide regular reporting and updates on the testing status of assigned tasks and projects to
relevant managers and stakeholders.
• Manages team performance plans/evaluation
• Holds regular 1:1 sessions with the team members and is responsible for mentoring/upskilling
• Coach new and junior team members in SDLC concepts, testing and quality control activities as well as business process and operational activities.
• Plan, organize and lead workshops for information gathering, problem solving,communications
or brainstorming.
• Liaise with end-users to help define requirements for any application enhancements.
• Ownership of teams financial KPI’s
• Weekly/monthly control/confirmation of the time entered for the timesheets
• Capacity planning
• Research, assess and learns new technologies, methodologies and frameworks and helps
implement them in practice
• Participate and contribute towards the creation and improvement of our testing standards and
procedures.
• Assist in developing, evaluating, maintaining and improving testing processes, testing roles and responsibilities within the product development lifecycle
-Ensure that defect management process is followed
